Square Enix have pushed out a new, “Glory to Mankind” trailer that looking into the story of NeiR: Automata.
Fans of the upcoming Platinum Games title will get to connect more with 2B, 9S, and A2 in the latest story driven trailer that shows action, locations, and gives a deeper look at the story.
2B, 9S, and A2 are androids who are on a goal to reclaim mankind’s disturbing dystopia from the mechanical beings that have invaded the world and driven humanity away. The story sees the androids in a war against the machines, within a world that is now overgrown with foliage, dust, and fallen buildings. The more the players delve into bringing back peace to the world, they also uncover truths that had been forgotten.
The trailer that can be found below shows off some great bits of gameplay, some we have already seen before in various live streams. We also get to see some new cinematic footage and gameplay elements in action. It’s a trailer really worth your time and is getting us more pumped for the release which is soon!
We have already seen a stream which featured gameplay and more details on the game, as well as one showing off some iconic weapons being featured, and we know about the PS4 Special Edition console available for pre-order.
Japan will get the full game on February 23rd 2017, America will get it on March 7th, and Europe will have it on March 10th. Those dates are for PS4 releases, however, a PC version has been confirmed, but no release date has been announced.
