Chronos: The New Dawn has received a free photo mode update for players across consoles and PC. The new feature is available right now, complete with filters, editing and new cosmetics to show of your spectacularly spooky side.
Cronos: The New Dawn released last year and thrust us into a methodical, heavy-footed descent into madness and mutilation. Atmosphere was always at the very top of Cronos’ list, and a photo mode is right at home with the style of the game (and it’s unique-looking main character).
In a feature on the game our writer at B3 picked up on exactly what makes Cronos stand out as a Bloober Team project: “The ennui, the comfort, the dichotomy of crappy buildings entombing beautiful life.”

The photo mode comes with all the bells-and-whistles you need to make your Halloween screenshots pop.

This photo mode unironically has more photo features than Toem 2.
Also included in the update is a new cosmetic for the season: Pumpkin head! Dress up in the face the existential horror of losing your humanity — my favourite Halloween pastime.

Bloober are hosting a series of streams and events this week to celebrate Halloween and their spookiest titles. The photo mode and pumpkin head skin are just one small part of the festivities. Between October 26th and October 30th you can catch official streams on the Bloober Team Twitch page.
