Steam Hammer, a steampunk themed RPG title set in a sandbox world is now on Steam Early Access.
It was announced by Big Way Games that the sandbox RPG title, Steam Hammer is now available for Early Access. The game boasts jetpacks, airships, an open class system, survival, and all set within a steampunk setting where players can craft items, and build a town as well as airships, while facing a hardcore PvP element working against them. The servers will be able to withstand 64 players, and two races, each with their own crafting systems.
An open class system allows players to switch between skills, allowing them to be more favoured in regards to engineering, or maybe farming, maybe gunsmiths, sharpshooting, or more. The combat relies on skill, removing the targeting system and battles take place both on land and in air. The other fancy feature is terraforming. Players can manipulate the world around them in regards to constructing mines, tunnels, ditches, and more.
After creating a character with a vast array of customisation options, players are sent into the world to begin their life without rules or restrictions. It is available on Steam Early Access for £22.99. The trailer below shows off Steam Hammer in action.
