Prideful Sloth pushed out an announcement trailer for their upcoming 2017 Open World adventure, “Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles”.
Yonder looks like a stylistic adventure, focusing on cute graphics, and characters, and boasts eight environments within the giant island, called, “Gemea” – an island that once was a wonderful paradise, and while it may look it, the world has been overrun with evil creatures called, Murkhas.
While the island may be a bit preoccupied with the takeover, the residents of the island are still around, and you can interact with them, and continue living life as it were. You can form and strengthen relationships with the locals by performing tasks for them and helping them out with farming, brewing, fishing, crafting, and more.
There appears to be no sign of combat from the trailer that was released, giving us the impression this could be a very relaxing game, maybe with puzzles over battles.
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is set for release in 2017 Q2 on PS4 and PC. The trailer is below!
