Rain World by Videocult showed off their exclusive trailer at the Playstation Experience event over the weekend, and it looks nothing short of creepy.
While it may look like a colourful version of Limbo, the gameplay seems a lot more interactive. For starters, you’re not a boy, you’re a “Slugcat” you have become separated from your family due to a flood, and on your venture back to them, you’ll hunt for shelter, and food, and…well it looks like a dramatic game for sure, with a lot of elements taking place within the world.
The game boats a huge 1600 rooms to explore, within 12 diverse regions. The animations are procedurally generated and the rain appears to be threatening.
Although it was shown at the Playstation Experience Event, it also appears on the Steam store, so it’ll be coming to PC and Mac, and PS4 in 2017 sometime.
