Phantom Trigger by Bread Team is heading to Nintendo Switch consoles this year.
After publisher, tinyBuild teased a WIP release image and announcing that they’re preparing to launch news on an upcoming Switch title, it led to a lot of people in the comments trying to figure out what game it’s going to be, I took the Twitter link to the team and Dann, Toby, and I spent some time trying to figure out what it was.Turns out I was right, and Dann had confirmed that I was right, even though he says it was kind of obvious, but I’m calling it a win.

It was confirmed that that title was in fact Phantom Trigger. We knew that Phantom Trigger was going to be arriving on Switch at some point this summer as the official website states, “Coming to SWITCH this summer” so I don’t know, I guess that’s indication enough!

Phantom Trigger is described as a hardcore neon slasher which features both RPG and Rougelike elements. The goal of the game is to wander a side-scrolling surreal world as protagonist Stan. Along the way players will come face-to-face with creepy enemies of which they’ll have to make the most of the games combat system, in which combos are unlocked and weapons are upgraded.
The title is going to be arriving on Steam this Summer 2017 along with a Nintendo Switch port.The open alpha is also available for PC users.
