Marvel VS Capcom: Infinite Release Date Announced, Arrives September

Capcom have announced the date of their new title, Mahvel VS. Capcom: Infinite, which will see the return of the action-fighting, superhero title that brings the Mahvel universe and the Capcom univ…wait a minute someone tempered with this press release.

Marvel VS. Capcom: Infinite will see the two companies, Marvel and Capcom bringing free-form 2v2 team battles that are integrated amongst various single-player modes, and will also feature a big variety of multiplayer content. The story mode that will be arriving to the console will be a first with a cinematic story playing out, with heroes and villains fighting together to save their worlds that have been merged, and Ultron Sigma threatens them, a sinister threat that combines the robotic foes from Marvel that are know as, “Ultron”, and Sigma from the Capcom universe. The villain aims to infect organic life with a cybernetic virus, and this is where the player comes in, to help save the world.

There are going to be various new characters joining the title, Ultron, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Rocket Raccoon, Chun-Li, Strider Hiryu, and Chris Redfield. Each of these characters will bring unique abilities to the table, with iconic special moves, and will be able to stand amongst previous characters from the series. There’s also Infinity Stones that offer the characters incredible in-game powers such as Time, Power, and Space.

Also coming to the title will see a single player arcade mode, training, and mission modes. There will also be multiplayer modes and features. Character stages, game features, and story mode details will be revealed in the coming months.

There will also be a Mavhel VS. Capcom…who meddled with this press release!? There will also be a Marvel VS. Capcom: Infinite Deluxe Edition that will include the main game on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, and a 2017 Character Pass, containing access to all six upcoming post-launch characters. Pre-orders for all versions of the Standard title will include the following costumes,

  • Warrior Thor
  • Evil Ryu

As for pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition, players will gain access to the above costumes, as well as the following costumes,

  • Gladiator Hulk
  • Mega Man Command Mission X

There is also going to be a Collector’s Edition arriving, this will be brought to players by TriForce, and is available on PS4 and Xbox One. It’ll include four premium character diorama’s of Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Mega Man X, and Chun-Li. There will be a case filled with six Infinity Stone replicas, and a SteelBook packaged Deluxe Edition of the game.

Marvel VS. Capcom: Infinite will be arriving on September the 19th 2017 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The below trailer was teased last year in December and showed off gameplay.

      Would be nice if it did; but then nowadays it’s getting easier and easier to make one yourself.
