Middle-earth: Shadow of War Coming This Year

Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be arriving on Xbox One, Windows 10 and Project Scorpio this year.

Xbox Wire announced this morning that the sequel to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will be coming this year and is titled, Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

Monolith Productions’ open world title sees the return of Talion and Celebrimbor, weilding a new ring of power and confront stronger enemies, such as Sauron and the Nazgul. The players will find themselves attempting to forge an army with a goal to turn the whole of Mordor against the Dark Lord. With an expanded version of the Nemesis System affecting both the environments and characters depending on the players decisions.

It will be arriving on August the 22nd on Xbox One, PC, and the upcoming Project Scorpio as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. In the coming days however, it will be available for digital pre-order on both the Xbox Store and the Windows 10 Store. Digitally pre-ordered/purchased  copies of the title on either the Xbox Store or the Windows 10 store will allow players to access both the Windows 10 version and the Xbox One version thanks to Xbox Play Anywhere.

It will also be coming to PS4 consoles.
