Following the closing of the Nintendo Switch Presentation, the trailer for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe released.
The game looks fairly similar to previous Mario Kart games with obviously graphical upgrades to take advantage of the Switch’s system. The trailer shows fancy kart moves, and some Mii’s racing in game, with some Splatoon 2 styled paint spills on the track.
The game doesn’t have a release date, but it brings Rainbow Road, and Link on a motorcycle. The controls, while not confirmed yet, this is my speculation, may well be controlled by the Joy Con’s motion sensor to steer the karts.
