Merge Games and developer Rebelephant have confirmed the release date for Kickstarter-success, ‘hacking-sim’ Mainlining.
Hacking-Sim is in single quotation marks there because you’re actually working against the criminals, unlike most games which feature the ‘hacker’/computer UI. Mainlining sees you as a new member of MI7 -no, not the propaganda one, a ficticious cyber-security one- tasked with tracking down a dangerous cyber-criminal network who even managed to breach MI7’s cyber-walls.
The game is set to launch on the 26th of January for Windows. There’s a demo available over on the Steam Page. It’ll launch for $9.99 / €9.99 / £6.99
