Greenlight Highlight | Shards of Azuria
Title: Shards of Azuria
Developer: Blue Potion Games
[Greenlight Page]
What type of game is it?
Dungeon Crawler with cool character and town crafting elements.
What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?
Isometric Dungeon Crawler but with the ability to combine bits and pieces into abilities for your character or crafting blocks to build up your house.
What do we like most about it?
It’s a great concept, we’re talking the ‘below-town’ hack and slashing of Divine Divinity, but with the ability to build up a cool, well defended home – as well as secure the town, all in the simple aim of defeating evil
Anything else worth shouting about?
The skills, although set with 3 classes in mind, can be used in any combination by the players. Fantastically there’s a decoy ability which actually teleports you away from the enemies you’ve just kited. There’s also a ‘mystic wall’ ability which joins two walls to the point selected, meaning you can block off an area giving you clear for your escape.
When’s it due?
I couldn’t find an approximate release date, however the team are planning to launch into Early Access and it looks quite robust already, so it could be soon.
