[Greenlight Page]
What type of game is it?
Adventure
What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?
Play as a psychiatrist solving your patients internal woes in a strange, uncanny, dystopian future.
What do we like most about it?
Asylopole seems to have no fear about sticking to it’s genre; with mini-games, and experience and stats system, and a non-linear story. Ultimately the game, and it’s pace, will be held together by it’s story and world. Luckily then, Asylopole world seems busy and overdeveloped, with an it’s busy, moody cyberpunk setting, and it’s curiously indepth PDA and Ultranet interfaces.
Certainly we’ve got no idea of the scale of the game, or of the music in the game. But, if the effort that’s gone into the game’s smooth, rotoscoped animations, and the depth of the Ultranet/PDA then this could definitely be one to look out for.
When’s it due?
Asylopole doesn’t have a release date listed at the moment, and based on the fact the video is listed as work-in-progress I assume we may have a bit of a wait on our hands. When it does launch it will do so for Windows PC.
