E3 2017 | Project CARS 2 Revs Hype With E3 Trailer & Release Date
Project CARS 2 by developer, Slighty Mad Studios has gained a new E3 trailer over on Bandai Namco’s YouTube channel.
The title gained an announcement trailer back in February 2017, and but it was in January 2017 that rumours were circulating that the game would have a September release.
Project CARS 2 is the sequel to the popular original title in which players race track cars around with stunning visuals, and the sequel seems to have only gotten better.
“We have rewritten the rendering system. We have added multiple newly written and very important modules to the physics, drivetrain, differential and tire modeling systems. The FFB system is now much more intuitive and comes with presets. The handling is transformed, in a very very good way.” – Ian Bell (CEO – Slightly Mad Studios)
The E3 trailer shows off some in-game footage of tracks and cars featuring within the game, and really, it looks quite awesome. It’ll feature multi-class racing, allowing for various vehicles of class that replicates the the famous endurance racing championships of old and current. A career mode will also be featured in the the game, allowing players to start from go-karts, working their way up to the biggest, supercar brands. Either that or they can choose to jump straight into any type of motorsport and one or more seasons within that championship, or they can choose to begin in any motorsport discipline, with nine of these to choose from.
Players will get to experience Project CARS 2 if they’re attending E3 2017 this year by heading over to the Bandai Namco Entertainment Booth, this will show off the optimized handling within the game, and tease stunning visuals, as well as the car physics, grip, slip, and realistic AI.
Project CARS 2 will launch on September the 22nd 2017 and will land on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
