E3 2017 – Ni No Kuni II Gets New Trailer and Release Date
The game oozes color and magic in its latest trailer and locks down a release date this year.
During Sony’s E3 2017 pre-show, a lot of games were announced or got new trailers to make room to other heavy-hitters in the main press conference. One of the stars of the pre-show was Level 5’s Ni No Kuni II – Revenant Kingdom.
The game preserves the aesthetics of the first entry, focusing on color and an artistic approach to design, with the clear Ghibli touch. The combat has taken a turn to a more action-oriented system which will guarantee snappier fights with lots of visual effects, as the trailer below showcases.
However, the game’s greatest E3 achievement is probably locking a release date on November 10 this year. Considering reports in February said the game was around 45% complete, skepticism was around the game sticking around to its promised 2017 release window. Luckily, said doubts have been cleared now.
Ni No Kuni II tells the story of Evan, a young prince who will go on a journey that will shape him as a future king. With companions along the way, he will live a series of adventurous events.
Ni No Kuni II – Revenant Kingdom is scheduled to release on PlayStation 4 and PC on November 10.
