Much to our sadness, that’s all we got.
Metroid fans have been begging for the series to return to a relevant position for years now. After receiving a kick in the teeth in the shape of Metroid Federation Force, this was the year of Samus.
During the Nintendo Spotlight at E3 2017, the company revealed the development of Metroid Prime 4 for Nintendo Switch by Retro Studios. You can see the reveal trailer below, but don’t go in expecting much, as the only thing we got to see was the game’s logo and the confirmation of its development. It’s safe to assume that the game is on an early stage but that’s more than enough to excite Metroid fans, who can now look forward to enjoying Samus on Nintendo Switch at some point in the future.
Metroid Prime 4 is in development for Nintendo Switch. No release date or window has been specified.
