Behold Studios are returning to the tabletop with Galaxy of Pen and Paper, however, unlike their first outing -Knights of Pen and Paper- this outing has a sci-fi twist.
Following the successful Chroma Squad, developer Behold Studios are returning to the spirit of their first title (Knights of Pen and Paper) and its entertaining D&D player-playing-players-playing-game-game-game idea, but with a Sci-Fi setting.
Much like Knights however, Galaxy of Pen and Paper is clearly going to try and go about it’s business with a sense of humour, playing off tropes and stereotypes.The few images over on their website shows off the new UI as well as a couple of enemies – what looks like a giant spaghetti monster (but could be a meatball cthulhu), and some drones that appear to have bananas for heads.
Aside from the usual there’s said to be multiple choice decisions, spaceship battles, and a lot more coming to the title.
Galaxy of Pen and Paper is currently planned for PC, Mac & Linux release at some point this year.
