These Are The Top Ten Things to Know About Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 as Detailed In the latest TOP 10 Things to Know About Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Trailer
Phew, what a title! CI Games have pushed another Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 trailer, and this time, it details the top ten things to know about the upcoming title.
Set to arrive on the 25th of June, this new trailer shows off some things about the title in a bid to spark even more hype for the stealth, sniper filled title. So let’s go through them!
Open World: The player gets to travel the huge open world set in the Republic of Georgia, either by vehicle, or by foot. There are several types of weather to travel around, and collectable sniper rifles can be found.
Safe House: A wonderful safe haven for the budding sniper, players can buy and upgrade weapons here, they can craft ammunition, take a nap, and due to the amount of maps on the wall, look at the world surrounding them.
Scout Mode: Players can use the scout mode skill to find footsteps around the world, and other clues to track down enemies.
Arsenal: The weapon library looks brilliant, with players being able to choose the right rifle for the job, be that a sniper rifle, assault rifle, shotgun, etc. Get your load out equipped how you like, weapon skins too! You can equip a primary, secondary, and sidearm a knife, three health slots, six gadget slots, armour, and a drone.
Extreme Navigation: While using binoculars, compasses, and GPS/Maps will help, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 allows players to climb nearly everything, from buildings, to fences, to vines, all helping the player reach the best points for sniping.
It’s personal: The story tells the tale of brotherhood and betrayal, with the player going through a cinematic storyline, filled with interrogations, sabotages, and more.
Challenge Mode: This mode is an incredibly hard difficulty, and will remove the HUD, and other elements, we previously reported on this mode which you can check out here.
Sniping: The attention to detail that has gone into the sniping moments is great, with the player having to judge distance, gauge the weather and wind speed before making a shot. There’s also an achievement shown in which players get achievements based on performance, the video shows the “Longest Shot” achievement being awarded.
Drone: A great way for marking out enemies within an area from a safe distance above and scouting out a plan of which you may wish to take. Drones can not only see things in thermal vision, but they can hack into building cameras so you can plan out an interior infiltration.
Play as you Want: The game welcomes non-stealthy attacks, allowing you to get creative, as shown in the video we see a detonated explosive stuck to the front of a vehicle, and it’s then driven into the camp and exploded. I wonder if I can stick a C4 onto the ceiling of an enemy lookout area, then wait until I BLOW IT UP!?
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will be arriving on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on the 25th April, players that pre-order the title before release get access to the season pass for free.
Sniper rifles
It’s interesting because the rifle is named after the subset of people who used it; theoretically they were simply long-range rifles, marksman rifles and -just generally- rifles. Few other modern weapon classifications do that.
Except the Machine Gunner, meant to be used by machines, and the Ploughman’s Gun, meant to be used by the accessible, everyman sammich.
