Following their announcement that The Wild Eight would be releasing into Early Access on Steam rather than going straight to full release -as originally intended- the developers of the Kickstarter success, Fntastic, have released a trailer showing of some of the game as it currently stands.
With less than a week until the February 8th debut of the title onto Early Access, developer’s Fntastic -nee Eight Points- are completely on track with their announced roadmap for the eight-player, co-operative survival affair.
For those not in the know – The Wild Eight sees up to eight players exploring a procedurally generated slice of Alaska littered with missions, objectives, and dangers following a plane crash. Players must work together to survive, while also pushing forward to discover the mysteries of the wilderness and escape to safety.
The Wild Eight releases on Windows PC via Steam on Feb 8th. It’s expected to leave early access in 3-4 months time, and should launch on Xbox One & PS4 around then too.
