Snakebyte Announce Third Party Nintendo Switch and NES Classic Accessories
Snakebyte have come out as one of the Nintendo Switch’s third-party accessory creators, and they also have some NES Classic accessories coming too.
Snakebyte, a company that creates third-party accessories, such as controller cases, headphones, keypads and more., have come out as a third-party creator for creating accessories for the Nintendo Switch, and the NES Classic.
Let’s talk about the Switch accessories as seen below.
The Nintendo Switch Foldable Headset looks like a great design for those on the go. Small and portable. It’s has powerful 40mm drivers, and is a wired headset too, so lets hope the jack can withstand the force of the Switch dropping if we were to be so clumsy! We wouldn’t…
The Nintendo Switch Starter Kit bundles most of the above. A carry bag, Stereo earbuds, cleaning cloth, screen protector, control caps, and game cases. A great little protection kit really, your Nintendo’s personal bodyguard as I want to start calling it.
Here’s a closer look at the carry bag, game case, and earbuds.
The Nintendo’s Classic NES doesn’t get such treatment for protection, but it does get some electrical’s to improve portability. Snakebyte have released a power adaptor allowing users to connect their device to any power outlets. The NES Classic originally runs its power from a USB port. Another NES Classic accessory is the gamepad extension cable which does as it says. It extends a cable. The extension allows players to sit further away from the console.
Snakebyte’s Nick Repenning, CEO for snakebyte USA said
“Nintendo has a tradition of honouring the past while forging a bold future, and with the release of the NES Classic Edition as well as the forthcoming Switch, we believe that gamers everywhere will respond positively to the new hardware Nintendo are introducing,”
“We expect our range of Switch accessories to be high quality and thoughtfully designed, ideal for a day one purchase alongside new console sales. We believe that the new products announced today will allow us to continue growing market share in our gaming hardware business and look forward to sharing further details soon.”
What do you think? Do you think they look alright? I’d admire them more in a darker grey, but otherwise, they seem rather solid, and also remind me of my old Gameboy travel packs. Ahh nostalgia.
