News | Robotality Unleash Pathaway for 2017 Release
Pathaway, a “tactical RPG set in a 1930s pulp adventure scenario” game by Robotality has been speculated to be hitting PC and Mac in 2017.
The game is based on guiding a team of eccentric characters to track down a lost civilisation that also contains what the Germans have called Valkyrium-500 a material that seems to be a power source which has recently been cropping up on the black market, “Your responsibility is to uncover the remains of a lost civilisation, before the Germans get to it. How exactly you go about this, is up to you and your thrown-together band of eccentric adventurers!”
It’s all about the turn based battles, and exploration elements in “Ever changing levels” where those ancient artifacts will be hidden away in a world where you can “Immerse yourself in a gorgeous 16-bit world built upon a novel pixel/voxel hybrid technology.” Not only that, but the game will feature a soundtrack composed by Gavin Harrison who did so for the studio’s previous title, Halfway.
Robotality seem to have taken graphical inspiration from their previous game, Halfway, and upped their game. They’ve taken lessons from Halfway and improved them in Pathaway. An example, hit chances statistics have been scrapped, now it’s all about if an attack can actually land.
Pathaway is looking to be a 2017 release, and will be looking at Windows, Mac, and Linux launches.
