Naughty Dog closed up the Sony Playstation Experience event by releasing a trailer revealing the second part of The Last of Us.
The trailer kicks in with some shots of a derelict forest, lifeless, quiet, serene. Scattered around are signs of a struggle long passed. The Naughty Dog logo comes into view, and following that, the battered, dirty, and clutching fist of a character holding a guitar is introduced. She begins playing a rendition of, “I Walk Through The Valley of Shadow and Death”
She performs the song with music video type shots of her performing, and then we see a male figure enter the building, looking around at several dead bodies within the monochromatic rooms. Joel allows her to finish before asking her if she’s really going to do something, to which she responds with anger in her eyes, “I’m going to find, and I’m gonna kill every last one of them”
Black.
The trailer has no further information, no release dates, no coming soon. But it is coming. And we’re excited.
