Job Listing Indicates Cyberpunk 2077 to Feature Flyable Vehicles

CD Projekt Red have posted a new vacancy on their website, and the role’s task includes working on controllable, flying vehicles.

Ever since Cyberpunk 2077’s initial unveiling back in… oh, 2013, people have been scavenging around for snippets of information pertaining to the title.

Over on NeoGAF user Nirolak started a new thread based around two job listings on CD Projekt Red’s website; both pertaining to work on the much-awaited title.

The first is for a Gameplay Designer and, interestingly, states that the Cracow based gameplay team are possibly tripling in size – albeit from two.

The second is the more interesting one; the studio is looking to hire a Vehicle Gameplay Programmer who will be tasked with, “Creating the whole architecture of vehicle related code and the physics of driving / flying in those vehicles.”

There’s, understandably, no specifics on how these flying vehicles will come into play, but based around what has been said previously about the world being larger than The Witcher 3’s, it is relatively safe to assume that these will be used for navigating the skylines of Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently in production, with no targeted release date or platforms (although for now we are listing it as PC, Xbox One & PS4 based off Witcher 3.)

You can find the only trailer CPR have released for the game below.
