What is it?
It’s a narrative adventure (a la walking simulator) taken in the shoes of a young girl about to leave her homestead on what is possibly a one-way journey.
The whole piece is a short exploration of the departure, with you visiting places that she grew up in, places that she played in as a child and places that were important to her as she came to be the person she is.
Unusually the game also has small mini-games which reveal extra snippets of story, and there’s also other characters dotted around the world who are willing to impart small moments of the protagonist’s life before they depart on their journey.
When’s it due?
Leaving Lyndow is listed for a February 8th release for Windows PCs.
