Team 17 have detailed their upcoming, free patch for Worms WMD, set to land on the 7th of December.
Worms WMD is due to recieve new content as part of a patch rollout, and product update, expected to land on Windows, Mac, Linux, PS4 & Xbox One on December 7th.
The update, titled Liberation, will add in several new types of artillery and ammunition, as well as adding in several new single player levels for players. There’s also a new level theme titled war-torn which is shown off the the below trailer; as you can see it focuses on bombed out towns, as well as featuring several ruined emplacements and vehicles as objects around the map.
Drones, as well as several new weapons, have also been added with the update. Much like real-world drones you will be able to pilot them around the map; unlike real-world drones you will be able to use them to perform horrible acts of grievous harm. There’s also the Worm Stinger, a trap which propels any body who triggers it upwards, giving players another tool for ridiculous physics based mishaps.
Worms WMD launched earlier on in the year for PC, Xbox One & PS4.
