Adult Swim Games, the publishers of upcoming platforming adventure title Rain World, have released the opening cinematic of the title ahead of it’s 28th of March release date.
Rain World, which follows the adventure of a curious, wandering slugcat, is the first outing for developer Videocult, who took the title both through Kickstarter and Greenlight in late 2014 with great success.
The game in motion – as best seen in the previous trailer – evokes both the fluid gameplay, and otherworldliness of the Abes Odyssey series, while taking place in the industrial ruins of an ancient race. The game in action is a search for family and sustenance, all while hiding from predators and deadly rain.
