Behaviour Interactive Bringing Dead By Daylight to Xbox One & PS4
Dead By Daylight was originally launched in 2016 for PC and features one to four players trying to survive as one other players hunts them down. It sees survivors trying to survive and escape by solving various goals around the map, while the killer tries to…well, you know? Kill them.
The game is usually based on teamwork, but the survivors can wander off and go solo, leaving their team mates behind. However maps can’t be simply learnt for a quicker escape the next time as they’re procedurally generated. Not only that but the killer can be played as various types from the world of horrors, ranging from The Trapper, The Nurse, Michael Myers and much more. Both survivors and killers have their own progression system and can gain various unlockables.
The Xbox One and PS4 arrival has allowed developer, Behaviour Interactive to add improvements to the matchmaking and the UI. There will also be a Special Edition version of the game digitally available to pre-order. Xbox One pre-orders for this are already available, with PS4 pre-orders starting on the 6th of June in Europe. The Special Edition will include,
- All main Killer and Survivors together with main Maps
- Killer: The Hag
- Killer: The Doctor
- Survivor: Ace Visconti
- Survivor: Feng Min
- Killer Outfits
- Survivor Outfits
- Map: Léry’s Memorial Institute
- Map: Backwater Swamp
Dead By Daylight is available on PC and is arriving on PS4 and Xbox One this month on the 20th of June if you’re in the US, or on the 23rd of June in Europe. The game is currently available to pre-order.
