0

Extremely popular game Vampire Survivors has you taking on hundreds of monsters at once, becoming the bullet hell to your enemies in a reversal of the genre. After it’s successful launch it has gone on to have several DLCs, including Emergency Meeting, Tides of the Foscari, Legacy of the Moonspell. Now, developers Poncle, have announced yet another DLC: Legacy of the Bloodmoon.

We’ve previously reviewed Vampire Survivors:

“Even before having discovered everything this game has to offer, I can very easily recommend Vampire Survivors to gamers of pretty much any type. It seems to have the scale of a puddle put is secretly ocean deep, and if you have even a passing interest in games then this is absolutely worth your time. Load up on garlic and vanquish some vampires!”

Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Bloodmoon DLC introduces over ten new characters, each with their own story aspects and mechanics. Malice Bloodmoon, for example, is leading a pack of disciples with the goal of finding the ancient lair of the Order of the Red Moon. However, the disciples themselves don’t know that they are cannon fodder and meat shields. Ashtart is one of the followers of Baal, now turned into a malevolent presence that inhabits any old bones that it touches, becoming anything that’s left dead nearby. These are just two of the characters, but we’re sure to hear about more of them as we get closer to the release date.

Alongside the new characters, there are over 16 new weapons added through this DLC, including an item that is an ominous celestial body of darkness that starts tearing reality apart and a fire ball… which is pretty basic in comparison.

There are also a bunch of new music soundtracks, to spice things up, and a new XL stage — Red Moon Manor — which is the ancient lair of the Order of the Red Moon. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more.
