The Sinking City 2 has been announced, releasing on August 18th of this year, with a 1-hour playable demo already out on Steam! This upcoming survival horror game is set in the roaring 20s, trapping you in a Lovecraftian world full of dread.

I constantly wanted to know more, to find out who would survive my decisions and what was actually going on in Oakmont. Whilst this might not be something that everyone will be satisfied with, if you are able to put up with a pretty messy technical aspect, the narrative side of the experience more than makes up for it. The Sinking City 2 has you navigating a decaying city through the use of a boat or on foot, trying to explore around, fight different enemies, and investigate what is going on within this world. You can meet Calvin Rafferty, dealing with the loss of the entire world around him has had a supernatural flood, driving out all but the most deranged residents, leaving decay and eldritch horrors that roam the streets looking to destroy anything there.
Your girlfriend, Faye, is trapped in a mysterious sleep after a dreaming ritual failed, and now you must figure out a way to bring her back. Along the way, otherworldly creatures will try to stop you, so you’ll need to fight to survive against these Eldritch abominations. There are elements of resource management, finding what you can in hopes it can help you, along with puzzle elements through investigating and solving optional cases.
