Our picks from the Curve Games Publisher Sale
Curve Games is running a massive publisher sale featuring a selection of their game line up on Steam. In the sale, you can find a bunch of discounts alongside some of their up and coming games — including games that are releasing all throughout the year. We have hand-selected a bunch of the games that we previously loved, in case you’ve got some extra spending cash and aren’t sure what to go after:
Manic Mechanics
“If you are a fan of chaotic, couch co-op games and want to bring a new one to your living room, Manic Mechanics is another fun entry, with plenty of levels to explore. I really love the inclusion of a kid-friendly mode, which makes this game super-friendly for all ages!”
Manic Mechanics challenges you to quickly repair cars in chaos.
Serial Cleaner
“Serial Cleaner is an isometric stealth title which sees players controlling the titular cleaner who has one simple job. To ensure that there are no clues left to discover after various brutal, messy incidents. This means you’ll be sneaking around crime scenes, evading guards and police offices as you attempt to clean up blood, hide bodies, and remove evidence before the officers discover it. If you get spotted or caught even once then that is your reputation straight out the window – an instant fail – so it’s a case of total, high-risk, high-tension stealth.”
Golf Gang
“Golf Gang is a great example of chaotic multiplayer, as a result, there’s little room for actual competitive play, but you know what? That’s totally fine. There is some structure in there, but the biggest danger to its lifespan is that people become familiar with mutators. As soon as the confusion from mutators wears off, the fun might well dry up. If you’re looking for something fun, simple and a bit dumb to play with some friends, here it is.”

Manual Samuel
“All in all, Manual Samuel is an enjoyable but short game which feels more like a party game than something you would go through on your own. The dialogue is funny and the gameplay is difficult enough to provide a challenge, but ridiculous enough to generate laughter over frustration when it all falls apart. A fun way to spend a couple of hours, but maybe turn the voices off unless you love the word ‘faeces’.”
Human Fall Flat
“Overall, Human Fall Flat is a fun game and can be replayed many times, finding different routes through the puzzles. To make things even easier for yourself, a second player can join in for some co-op fun.”
I Am Fish
“It is a really challenging game that does often make you have to walk away and come back later. When I reached the section where you start rolling around inside a giant cylinder I ended up handing the controller to someone else for a while because I was just so frustrated at the movement. At the same time, the game itself is polished, beautiful, and so unique and memorable. It’s one that you want to keep playing, if only to see exactly what will pop up next.
I enjoyed my time with I Am Fish, even if the game is beyond my current skill level. It’s fun to fly around, race, and swim your way though so many parts of the world.”
Embr
“Now as you might expect when dealing with a burning building, things quickly fall into absolute chaos. The fire is spreading at an alarming rate, the water from the hoses is tripping the houses electricity, there is a gas leak and within all that the floor to the basement collapses. But we did save enough people to meet the legal minimum requirement to call it a ‘job well done’. Sure, one or two people got left behind and my team member nearly died in the fire but we got good customer feedback, which is all that matters, really.”
Bomber Crew
“The game play itself is extremely fun. The management aspects become like clockwork in a hurry and build at an appropriate pace. The drawbacks are relatively few and seem mostly if the team were so focused on making the gameplay of such a good quality that they missed some things on the peripheral and none of those things are even remotely game breaking. The game itself can be so addicting that you might not really notice or care about these things, making it one game that I can see myself playing for a long, long time.”
The Curve Games Publisher Sale is live until May 18th, so have a look and see if there are any games worth your time.
