Video Review | De Blob (Xbox One)
Originally launched back in 2008 as a Wii exclusive, De Blob, from now defunct publisher THQ and their internal studio Bluetongue, had players take on the titular Blob as to fight back against the evil INKT Corporation. INKT Corperation are a sinister lot, sucking the colour out of the world, and as such imprisoning the world in a monochromatic metropolis.
THQ Nordic, formerly Nordic Games, obtained both the THQ name and their bucket of IPs following the former company’s bankruptcy, and they’ve been setting to work reinvigorating the old IPs and bringing them to other platforms. For the 2017 outing of De Blob they partnered with well established porting company BlitWorks as to release the game on PC, PS4, and —what we are reviewing— Xbox One.
You can find our very own RemoveableSanity’s video review above, depicting his time spent restoring colour to the world in the fun puzzle platformer.
De Blob is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.*
