Kickstarter Users Have Successfully Funded 10,000 Games Projects
In a blog post on Kickstarter it was revealed that 10,000 games projects have been funded by users that have helped backed projects and helped the developers bring their projects to life. Now, this statistic includes both digital video games, and physical board/card games.
Kickstarter was launched back in 2009, in fact I remember seeing it first in 2010 when someone on an old film maker forum I was a member of was looking for funding to help them create a short film. - 2.46 Million Kickstarter users have backed a Games Project
- 2,45 Million users in total have pledged $613 Million towards Game Projects
- 1.45 Million of the 2.45 million users have backed more than one
