Teaser Trailer For TimeSplitters Rewind Released, 2017 Release Hopeful
Cinder Interactive Arts have a remake of TimeSplitters coming to our hands hopefully this year.
TimeSplitters Rewind is being created with the CRYENGINE, and will be a multiplayer experience to please fans of the original.
There will be characters, weapons, and maps from all of the previous three games, TimeSplitters, TimeSplitters 2, and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.
The trailer below doesn’t really show anything gameplay related, but it does show the release date going from 2018 to 2017, so hopefully we’ll be seeing this sometime this year. Perhaps towards September or November?
As for gameplay there really isn’t much to see. Back in August last year they shared a video of a gun range to show off some of the weapons they were working on, but the video is currently set to private so we don’t get to enjoy the video. Then in September last year we got to see a screenshot on their blog, of a character holding a shotgun with the classic crosshair shown. There were also some weapon models featured, for example, the Soviet Rifle below.
TimeSplitters Rewind is a fan creation by developer Cinder Interactive Arts and is due for a 2017 release, however platforms have not been specified, it’s fairly certain that we will see a PC release.
