Meridiem Games, a Spanish company who will be handling distribution of -among others- Kalypso Media & Game Farm’s Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, has posted a gameplay trailer to their YouTube channel, showing off the upcoming ARPG in action.
The description of the title gives a bit of background on the title, which follows members of the ‘Ulfung Clan’ IE the titular Wolves of Midgard, who are determined to reverse the imminent destruction of the world by fighting off both giants, and evil creatures.
There’s certainly not enough games that take inspiration from the Norse pantheon or mythos, and Vikings looks to be a half decent ARPG, with solid visuals, smooth gameplay, and decent animations.
Vikings: Wolves of MIdgard is set to release in March 2017, it’s listed as launching on PC, Xbox One & PS4
