Early Access Date For Days of War Announced
Days of War developer, Driven Arts have unveiled news that the FPS WWII online multiplayer game will launch in January 2017, at some point.
The game boasts a WWII setting, with 32 player matches taking place alongside fast paced gameplay that appears to have a nice little hint of Day of Defeat: Source nostalgia to it.
There will be over 20 weapons, 4 maps, official servers, and support for dedicated community servers.
Throughout the early access period, Driven Arts are going to be releasing new maps on top of keeping tabs on performance issues, and any bugs that are reported.
Here is the Early Access Gameplay trailer
The full game is planned to include,
- Frenetic Action. High damage model, challenging recoil, and short respawn times keep it fast paced with high consequence.
- All Weapons Unlocked. Pick up a bolt action rifle, SMG, shotgun or deployable MG, right away, no leveling or grinding required to play.
- Immersive WW2 Battles. We’ve used the latest technology including photogrammetry, laser scanning, and the power of UE4 to bring you a truly next gen WW2 shooter.
- Objective Based Game Modes. It’s not just about the best K/D ratio, its about pushing the line, securing the objective, or destroying the target.
- Full Server Control. Dedicated servers with full in-game administration abilities, tune the experience for you and your clan.
Below is the Early Access Release Trailer that is pretty much a shot-by-shot homage to Saving Private Ryan’s D-Day Normandy Beach scene.
