What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?

Explore an massive world, fighting against evil as to track down the evil dragon Drakoth and get your sister back.

What do we like most about it?

Well, I’m glad you asked. It’s the overworld: the overworld, the overworld, and the overworld.  As somebody who feels that game worlds, maps, and how navigation in larger games are handled, this has shown a simply massive amount of promise simply by maintaining it’s ‘map-mode’ style perspective and scale throughout its dungeons and for the core map elements.

Seriously though, the art style is simplistic and refined, and the music (look up the musician if you get a chance) is completely fitting to the game as we’ve seen it so far.

My only concern for the game is the length of it, although the developers have stated on the greenlight page that the game will feature a decent selection of side-quests which run alongside the main quest line.

When’s it due?

Cat Quest is currently targeted for release in 2017, when it launches it will do so for Windows PC.
