Ubisoft And FreeStyleGames Join Forces to Form, Ubisoft Leamington

In a UbiBlog post today, Phil Smith announced news that there’s a new Ubisoft studio in town.

Ubisoft have joined forces with FreeStyleGames, a company who have worked on Guitar Hero Live, and DJ Hero. Previously part of the Activision/Blizzard family, they have now joined the Ubisoft family and are going to be renamed, Ubisoft Leamington.

Ubisoft Leamington will be working closely with Ubisoft’s, Reflections and other International studios under the Ubisoft umbrella. They’ll be helping develop AAA titles.

Reflections are the studio that have worked on Watch_Dogs 2, The Division, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

There will be more details on this studio update in the coming months.
