The Big E3 Trailer RoundUp [2016]

This year’s E3 event kicked off on the 12th June in L.A. Thousands of gamer boffins flew, drove, walked, and rolled to one of the biggest gaming events of the year.

We sadly couldn’t attend, but we kept ourselves glued to the streams like loyal gamers, and as a result, we are able to write up our E3 Trailer RoundUp without having to go and catch up on sleep, groggily battle jetlag, and choose what deodorant/perfumes will last the day.

Below is a list of every game trailer (we hope) that has hit our eyeballs.

Yooka-Laylee
Playtonic Games
PS4, XB1, Wii U, Windows, Mac OS, Linux

Yooka-Laylee looks like a nice, quaint little high quality platformer, similar to those back in the days! It looks to have a nice sense of humour.

Agents of Mayhem

Agents of Mayhem looks…well…it looks like it has a lot of mayhem in, and quite a few agents. This cinematic trailer shows a very stylised battle, showing the main characters, some perks, and some enemies that will come forth. Looks interesting!

World of Final Fantasy

Did you ever think you’re need a cute Final Fantasy game? Well this one seems to take a very cutesy approach to the FF universe, and we’re not going to lie, the graphics look pretty sweet. This looks like it could be something special!

Watch Dogs 2

After the first game came out, people seemed let down by the game, especially when players found that the game had hidden higher quality graphics tucked away. This seems to be bringing back the anticipation, building the hopes up, and it also shows the behind the scenes of how much effort has gone into Watch Dogs 2

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8

A PS4 exclusive, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 shows a gameplay style we’re all familiar with, and graphics that keep true to the original, but with a new story that certainly looks captivating!

Of Kings And Men

Ever wanted to command someone to cut down a tree? Now you can! This game looks to bring a very nice settlement style game to life in the style of a third person game. Build a town, build a city…battle.

Deus Ex GO

Sometimes successful game franchises get a mobile edition, and as it happens, this short trailer for Deus Ex GO shows a quick takedown and a clean, futuristic environment. This could be a nice little mobile game.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

This gameplay trailer shows what to expect from the graphics, interface, fighting, and gives an insight into the story a bit. We won’t mention the shower scene…half of the audience at the reveal probably went, “Pwoar!”. The map interface looks really sleek, the stealth looks nicely tactical, and the weapons are teased with being incredibly helpful and powerful…when used correctly.

Horizon: Zero Dawn

A fantasy world, a ginger female with a bow, and an incredibly detailed world makes this game very interesting. Oh. And there are robots and dramatic combat moments that looks to be expected. Really excited for this one!

A VR game, a floating PS4 controller, and a top down experience. This game seems to take game immersion to another level, and it’s certainly looking to be a very stealthy game. Have a look.

Lego Dimensions

Another LEGO game! Play as many famous characters, like Batman, ET, Gandalf, and even Adventure Time! This is looking to be a huge game for both children and adults alike.

Destiny: Rise of Iron

Wolves, a deep grating voiceover, and furturistc elements makes this game quite an interesting concept. Although from this trailer, it’s unsure if it’s trying to be from the past, or from the future. It could just be basically Destiny: Era Confusion.

Not entirely sure what this is meant to be, although it could be argued that it’s classic Disney inspired graphics and barmy gameplay will certainly send you feeling like you’re on an intense caffeine high.

Styx: Shards of Darkness

This looks to be one interesting fantasy story, with spells, swords, balloon ships, and huge bosses.

Xing: The Land Beyond

A puzzle game based on some form of island, carrying some mystical energy. The puzzles themselves look advanced, even in this gameplay demo!

This video featured in game footage of a magical gauntlet of some kind, and incredible jumping skills, that wit some intense blooms and nicely shaded enviroments make this…WHOA WAIT, They revived a dead deer!?

Wake up, see a camera, you’re strapped up, your hands stuck in a machine…what the hell is this game going to introduce!?

Cel-shaded graphics, bow weilding players, exploding arrows, arcadey style gameplay, all set in a top-down arena. Looks like some fun multiplayer game!
