Tabletop Adaption, Hand of Fate: Ordeals Makes Kickstarter History
Hand of Fate: Ordeals has made Kickstarter history amongst the Australian Tabletop scene.
The other day I ran a BOOT piece on Hand of Fate: Ordeals and by the time I had got round to covering it, the title had already surpassed its target goal of AU$ 30,000 in under six hours. The number continued to climb and it now sits at AU$ 200,000+, which means that it has earned itself a place in Kickstarter history for being the most funded Australian Tabletop game in Kickstarter History.
Before Hand of Fate: Ordeals, it was “Twisted”, a steampunk themed miniature game from Demented Games. It was sitting proud at AU $162,154.
The constantly increasing total for Hand of Fate: Ordeals means that more and more stretch goals are being achieved.
“We’ve been absolutely amazed by the support Hand of Fate: Ordeals has received over the past week. Becoming the highest-funded Australian tabletop game on Kickstarter is a great honor and we look forward to using this success to make Ordeals the best experience possible when it releases this November.” – Morgan Jaffit (Creative Director at Defiant Development)
There is also a Hand of Fate 2 in development, and will be arriving on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux.
