Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun Demo now Live.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, by developer Mimimi Productions, and publisher Daedalic Enterainment, now has a demo available on Steam and GOG which showcases the nature and stylings of the upcoming strategic stealthy game.

If you’ve not heard of Shadow Tactics yet, the game takes place during the Edo period of ancient Japan, and sees you controlling up to five characters, each with their own unique skills, in a fashion similar to Commandos and Desperados. While each character is extremely vulnerable and weak as an individual, by using stealth, guile, and teamwork players can out-manoeuvre enemies and defeat the targets.

The demo includes two early levels of the full game’s 13 missions. While 13 might seem a little [unlucky?] minimal, the developers estimate that the full campaign will take around 25 hours of play to complete.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is set to release on December 6th for PC, Mac & Linux. It’s also expected to launch on Xbox One & PS4 at some point in 2017. You can find the announce trailer below.
