The Pokemon World Championship have revealed more details about their North American International Champions, who recently have been crowned as the winners ahead of the next NAIC, which will be in Chicago in 2027!
Pokemon World Championship is a Pokemon gaming competition event, where players take on each other in Pokemon Champions, the Pokemon physical Trading Card Game, Pokemon Go and Pokemon UNITE. I went a few years back to the European leg of this event, where there was so much to see and do for those who weren’t participating in the actual tournaments.
Alongside the announcement for 2027’s host, Pokemon World Championships, in a livestream, showcased all of the partners that will be exhibiting at PokemonXP – which is taking place alongside the 2026 Pokemon World Championships in San Francisco. PokemonXP is a new event, where you can see a bunch of different collaborations between Pokemon and popular brands, purchase exclusive Pikachu plushies, and even pick up some PokemonXP stamped physical TCG cards for Pokemon. This reveal also featured the 2026 Pokemon World Championship Paradise Resort Card, Promo Card and Welcome Kit, so that everyone can be excited about all of these exclusives!
There is a chance to collect these cards at local stores, not just in San Francisco, so it’s an extremely exciting time! There are often other digital events that happen around the Pokemon World Championship, like a livestream with Pokemon Go drops, so it’s worth being excited even if you aren’t attending physically.
