We love Pokemon, we love tech – so seeing three different Razer headsets each with different Pokemon designs on them is quite an exciting thing. Do I wish that more of the niche Pokemon were included? Yes, but these are some fantastic fan favorites.
We’ve got the Razer BlackShark V3 x HyperSpeed in both Charizard and Lucario edition. Lucario is less seen than Charizard, but is one that is easily recognized by the fans and causal Pokemon players alike. These are both wireless headsets, with TriForce 50 mm Drivers, giving good speed and great audio within them.
The Sylveon Edition of the Razer Kraken V4 X is adorable, giving a different headset with a fantastic branding – bright, pink, colorful. This is a soft, wired gaming headset, which can be folded up, and of course has Razer Chroma RGB lighting.
All of these new items come perfectly timed with the 30th anniversary of of Pokemon, so they not only feel timely, but also possibly limited in nature. They join the existing Pokemon keyboards, mice and headsets that Razer and Pokemon Company have already partnered for.
I am not sure if there will be even more added to the Pokemon collection, especially considering that we’re moving toward the end of the year, and Christmas is approaching, but it’s always fun to see new Pokemon included.
The three headsets are available now. If you’re based in the US then the Lucario and Sylveon editions are Target exclusive, Charizard will be available there too, but also through the Razer website. LatAm, Europe, Australia and New Zealand will apparently be full retail, although we’ve not got a list of stores that are included in that.
You can find more details on the Razer website.
