Pewdiepie’s Tuber Simulator Fights AID’s With Games For (RED) Event Update

Pewdiepie usually ends up getting a lot of hate from the mainstream news brands, and people usually focus their time looking at his wealth and how he just screams at video games. Many fail to mention the amazing funds he has helped raise for charities. Back in 2013 he raised $446,462 for the charity: Water Campaign and he has thanked his fans  who had helped to raise over $1 million for several charities during 2014-2015. Charities such as G2A, and Save The Children.

And now he’s back, backing another charity, this time using the Games For (RED) event by Apple as his inspiration, it begins today, and ends in 6 days time on the 6th December. The charity wants to raise funds to fight the battle against AID’s, and Apple’s Games for (RED) is allowing video game developers to take part by going red.

Pewdiepie unleashed a video on the Outerminds YouTube channel today where he explains the facts and figures of the charity detailing down that they hope to rid the world from AID’s by 2030, as long as action is taken now. He then goes on to explain how they have become involved with the charity by turning the game…very red.

The update brings a superhero pack available to purchase in-game, with a wide selection of items and character themes to make your room as red and black as possible. Character costumes are superhero inspired with both classic and modern inspirations. There”s a new desk, and many props, such as a telephone box, that’s red,  a phone, that’s red, a glass of red wine, some wall props of the red costumes being showcased, a red cow that is nothing to do with, The Laughing Cow Cheese, and way more.

The pack costs, $2.99 and 100% of funds go to the charity. You can kit you room out and get involved with the room voting for (RED) event and feel good about helping make a change in the world by playing a game.

The video below is the release video that hit the Outerminds channel and shows exactly that the game brings.
