In this, the fifth part of our third Big Boss Babble podcast, we discuss the question of, “Should we really be allowing self-teaching AI into competitive gaming?” regarding the recent news that Elon Musk’s AI has best professional gamers at Dota 2. (Elon Musk’s Dota 2 AI beats the professionals at their own game – Peter Bright – Ars Technica)
It’s an important topic for a lot of different reasons, if not least because there’s a very high chance they’re better at doing all the good things humans can do, and don’t have to do the bad stuff humans do.
Toby led the topic while Terry, Toby and Dann tried not to say anything that might be used against them when they get hauled off to delinquent prison by our new robot overlords.
