McDonald’s are collaborating with Xbox to bring not only a new menu of foods, but also a bunch of gaming items that you can get from eating McDonald’s for Halo, Fallout 76, Forza Horizon 6, Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Candy Crush Saga. The in-game exclusives are launched through the McDonald’s app.
This is the second time we’ve seen Side Missions, as they had a previous round in 2025.I got the chance to try out the menu; the Fallout 76 Blamco Cheesy Potato Bites being a surprising hit as they look like little onion rings, with a potato-taste and not too much cheese. The Dragonbreath World of Warcraft fiery buffalo dip is tangy and spicy, making for a good sauce for nuggets, strips, or those potato bites.
Forza Horizon 6’s Sour Cherry Fizz Soda isn’t too sour at all, instead tasting like a slightly cherry Sprite and the Fall Out sugar donut was surprisingly airy and light! Canda Cursh Saga has a chocolate-loaded McFlurry too. Halo’s Garlic and Black Pepper Chicken Nuggets were one of my favorites – I previously had them in Germany and they just really are well seasoned (no need for dip!)

- Master Chief Armor for Halo: Campaigned Evolved
- A Car Voucher for Forza Horizon 6 for an exclusive vehicle

- Booster Bundle for Candy Crush
There is a good mix of fan-favorites returning to games and new items for those looking for them! It’s very neat to see gaming and fast food brands collaborate in this way, and I do love the idea of Side Missions.
