Kitman puts you in both the manager and maintainer role
Kitman, from Outlier, has you playing as both the manager of the equipment room and a pseudo manager of a football team. You’ll need to fix, find, complete orders and level up players gear and equipment to have them performing in top shape and winning games.
In Kitman you’ll fix, clean and just generally take care and repair any and all equipment both before and in the middle of games, giving you live updates on the performance of the team as well as their requests for repairs. You can also place orders to buy better clothes and shoes to help your team get better stats and overall a better score.

The demo of Kitman gives quite a streamlined experience compared to what I imagine the final product would look like but there’s clear potential for a huge co-operative experience for fans of both football and simulator games. There’s a lot going on as well with several rooms each with unique interactions and mini games to keep you and your friends occupied as you try and keep your team in tip-top condition as well as their gear.
There is also a big focus on customising each piece of gear for your team to tweak overall statistics and enhance their abilities to out perform other teams which gives you a high level of customisation even down to printing the number on each shirt for the right player.

The Kitman crew mentioned that their first public playtest is coming up which you can request access to on their Steam Page as well as having a rough target of releasing before the end of year into early access.
It’s an odd blend of two kinds of genres but it’s oddly satisfying getting into the nitty gritty parts of a football team and seeing your efforts be reflected in the performance of your team so Kitman may definitely be something to keep an eye on in the future. I was really impressed with what I played at New Game Plus.
Kitman will release for Windows PCs.
