What type of game is it?

What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?
Your team-mate is infected and dying, you must explore the mansion and discover all of its secrets. If you don’t find them all then the layout of the mansion will shift, keeping the layout fresh, and the tension high.
What do we like most about it?
The game completely nails the survival horror vibe; although that is largely due to the enemies, movement and setting being very similar to Resident Evil. That said I don’t really care about the similarities, as I still hold that the survival horror genre was dragged kicking and screaming into a more action orientated form long before it’s time.
If you’re looking for where the game differs from it’s clear inspiration, then you don’t need to look any further than the ticking 30minute timer that requires you to clear the 10-20 rooms of the procedurally generated mansion in order to get the vaccine to save your squad-mate. It also has a skill and stat system in the game, that allows you to tweak the character to suit your play style.
When’s it due?
Vaccine is set to launch for Windows PC, Mac, Wii U, and Linux in early 2017.
