What do we like most about it?
The humble story of a stranded explorer in a lost, alien place, just trying to find their way home. It’s a theme that echoes through most cultures in one way or another, and one of the story arcs that frequently crops up in films. Yet, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it pitched in a way that has looked quite this appealing – everything has a wonderful calming shapelessness to it; the more complex a thing is, the less important it is that you study it.
I’ve always been a fan of games with less than conventional art, and One Eyed Kutkh looks brilliant, even if -as by the developers own admission- it is short.
When’s it due?
One Eyed Kutkh is planned to release in Q1 of 2017, when it launches it will do so for Windows, Mac & Linux.
