What’s the 30 second elevator pitch?
Save the world as Mr Triangle, as you fight back against the evil alien overlord ‘Mastermind‘.
What do we like most about it?
The game channels a lot of the wacky, ill-explained madness of classic RPGs, but it does it with a lot of awareness of the tropes that made the games a little bit awkward to return to; convoluted, blown-up stories, among other things.
I also love the fact that certain spells on certain enemies transform them; use fire on a potato, or corn, to make popcorn or french-fries of your foes.
While I certainly don’t get much time to play the more involved genres these days -which I count RPGS/JRPGS amongst- I think this is definitely something that, thanks to it not taking itself too seriously, could find its way onto my playlist in the future.
When’s it due?
Mr Triangle’s Adventure doesn’t currently have a release date scheduled, when it does launch it will do so for Windows PC.
