Wingspan Bird Pack: British Birds is coming to the digital board game
Wingspan, the digital board game about stunning birds and strategy, is releasing the Bird Pack: British Birds, as the first of six new bird packs, to the game on June 15th.
We previously reviewed Wingspan when it came to PC:
“Playing through Wingspan Digital was a fun romp, if the game were one in a nature reserve, and birds would be at my beck and call. I do feel the interface can be a little confusing at times, especially in regards to the selecting the three main moves of the game — take food, lay eggs, and draw bird cards. Whilst the tutorial provides insight into how it works, the somewhat clunky interface hinders moves with pop-up flavour text.”
The first Wingspan Bird Pack is called British Birds, which will release on June 15th. Each of these packs will include 25 different birds not previously included in the game. To make things more interesting, all of the birds have their own unique abilities which have not previously been included in the game. Every Bird Pack also includes an exclusive player portrait.
If you haven’t guessed by the name, the Bird Pack: British Birds will featured bird species from across the United Kingdom. This not only includes the 25 cards, but also a bunch of authentic songs to enjoy alongside the twist of learning new strategies within the game itself. If you are looking for a better deal on the packs as a whole, Wingspan has announced the Wingspan Bird Packs: Season Pass, which will include all of the packs they are planning to release.
