E3 2017 | FIFA 18 Announced At EA Play, Details Within
Amongst various announcements at last nights E3 2017 kick off show, EA Play, FIFA 18 was one of the titles to be announced, this title bringing football back once again, and with a focus on the Nintendo Switch.
After being shown a wonderfully looking trailer, with probably far too many cuts to black for my liking, we got a look at FIFA 18, which shall be debuting on the Nintendo Switch, bringing new game modes, optimised controls, and Ultimate Team. It’ll be bringing game modes from the previous FIFA titles, such as the FIFA Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Kick Off, and Local Seasons. All these being bundled together into one title makes it the deepest portable game in the FIFA franchise.
Ultimate Team will allow players to take part in Squad Building Challenges, both in Online and offline Seasons, Tournaments, and Draft. It’ll come with five campaigns, a transfer market, and more that is to be revealed at a later date.
With the game arriving on the Nintendo Switch, this will allow players to enjoy the game out and about or at home. It’ll have local multiplayer capabilities for Local Seasons, as well as Kick Off Mode, Career, Online Seasons, Tournaments,Skill Games, and Women’s Internation Cup. There will also be multiple control schemes.
Those who are fans of knowing about the display resolution, while docked the game will output at 1080p, and while portable it’ll be in 720p. The in-game players also feature a brand new Physically Based Player Rendering, and the 3D environments surrounding them help bring every bit of the game to life.
FIFA 18 will be launching on the 29th of September 2017 for the Nintendo Switch.
